Mad respect for Chris Evans. It’s okay to seek help when you’re lost, or when you need someone to talk to. Been there, done that Chris. You truly are an amazing man. One of my idols.

This is the best goddamn thing that has ever happened to me

Reputedly a scene was filmed where during the final battle Captain America saves an old man trying to protect his grandchildren. He tells him to ‘Get them to cover’ but as he walks away the old man asks him “Cap, is that really you?’. He turns and noting the man’s World War 2 veteran lapel pin trades salutes with him. As Captain America sprints away the children ask their grandfather ‘Do you know him?’ and he replies ‘We ALL know him’.

Also I’m quoting myself again because why the hell not

Me, explaining to completelysane how to spell “Pez” — as in, “I just bought a Captain America Pez dispenser”:

“Pez. One ‘z.’ You are shaming America with your misunderstanding of its candy. How do you define freedom if not by the letters ‘p’, ‘e’, and ‘z’? Patriotism. Eagles. Zeal. Pez is what America stands for. How dare you besmirch that sacred bond of candy and country. Your thoughtless mistake causes tears to rain down Captain America’s face, like eagles from a poisoned sky, crashing tragically to their deaths. Deaths caused by a disrespect for the very principles of our great country. If we cannot remember how to spell Pez, then how can we ever hope to be true to our commitment to liberty? PATRIOTISM. EAGLES. ZEAL.”

OHMYGOD CAPTAIN AMERICA YAY

I don’t care about the Avengers or the recent Captain America movie or whatever. But I friggin love the Captain America you see at WalMart in the action figure aisle, the one who you can prod into saying all of those redonkulous catchphrases. (“This shield - (dramatic pause) - is amazing.”) Because he is the hokiest, most ridiculous superhero and I just want to pat him on the head and be like, “Yes, Captain America. Yes. You have a very nice shield. We are all very proud of you.”

Also, North.
